The artificial-intelligence debate took an extraordinary turn Monday when Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was interrupted during a live discussion by a phone call from President Donald Trump — and the president was promptly put on speakerphone in front of the audience.
What followed was more than an unusual Silicon Valley moment.
It became a public confrontation between two very different visions of the AI future.
Trump dismissed growing fears about advanced artificial intelligence as a “hoax” and argued that the United States should not slow the technology.
